Los Angeles native Aaron Brown was immersed in a musical environment from an early age, surrounded by various genres, including classical, jazz, funk, and pop. His journey into music began in the second and third grades when he would write rhymes and songs inspired by the games he played, hiding them from teachers out of fear of getting into trouble. At the age of six, Aaron started playing drums, eventually transitioning to become a classically trained pianist. His fascination with the piano was sparked by hearing his father play, and he was particularly captivated by an A minor 9th chord played; he fell in love. Straight away, Aaron delved into learning jazz standards and classical pieces, diligently honing his technique to a point where his teacher advised lessons were only necessary sporadically to maintain his skill. During the peak of the Covid pandemic, confined indoors, Aaron seized the opportunity to channel his talents into production. Starting as a novice producer, he quickly immersed himself in the craft, exploring new musical styles, such as Italian film scores, to enrich his compositions. His dedication and exploration led him to develop a distinct style that resonated with his childhood musical influences. Aaron's production journey spanned genres from Rap and Boom-Bap to Ballads and Pop. He discovered his niche in crafting music that transported him back to the sounds that once captivated his younger self. His unique approach blends retro funk with modern pop sensibilities, enriched by his penchant for rap-inspired embellishments and flourishes. Today, Aaron Brown continues to evolve as a musician and producer, driven by his passion for creating nostalgic and innovative music, aiming to connect with listeners through his distinctive and captivating sound.
