Dimitri Vegas returns to deliver a techno-driven version of the Smash The House classic ‘2 Times’ featuring Sound Of Legend, Steve Aoki and woman behind the classic track Ann Lee – out this month on House of House!

Smash The House label boss and Tomorrowland royalty Dimitri Vegas is a name that needs no introduction, especially on this label. The Belgian superstar returns to the unique House of House label to bring a reimagined version of his ‘2 Times’ edit from 2021, inviting Steve Aoki to bring a euphoric techno flavour to the party alongside the original billing in Sound Of Legend and Polina Grace. Taking influence from genres like big room, hyper and industrial, Vegas, Aoki and Sound Of Legend create a hard hitting and intoxicating version of the classic – modernising the stems and making them accessible to todays market!

Smash The House boss Dimitri Vegas continues his stellar run of solo releases in 2024 with this release, adding a star-studded affair to his already successful tracks this calendar year, which includes ‘Good For You’ with Goodboys and Chapter & Verse, as well as ‘Summer Dream Of Love’ with Darren Styles. Dimitri Vegas proceeds to diversify his sound and work with some of the biggest and best in the scene in the process, his recent Tomorrowland set was filled with exciting upcoming releases and ID’s from your favourite producers. Steve Aoki is a name that needs no introduction in the world of EDM as one of the premier and forefront producers in the world, alongside the likes of Dimitri. Bringing his signature big room sound to the party, the Dim Mak boss and serial cake thrower adds a flair that only he can add! Aoki has been on a tear as of late, producing alongside some of the most exciting artists out there, including with Ne-Yo on ‘Heavenly Hell’ and also Gabry Ponte on ‘He’s A Pirate (Save Me)’.

Sound Of Legend are a masked trio of producers, who are fronted by a masked entity/superhero character named Zach, making them one of the more unique electronic music outfits from the outset. The trio, who have garnered over 400 million streams across DSP’s on their releases, collaborated with Dimitri Vegas recently on the official World Cup song for the Belgian national football team, with that release being the most successful of their career so far.

Also joining the party once again is Polina Grace, the vocalist for this epic release. Originally hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, the singer/songwriter has been making waves for years now, thanks to her successful releases like ‘All My Love’ with Natty Rico, ‘Seven Nation Army’ with The FifthGuys and many more.

Ann Lee is the woman behind the classic 1998 track that first brought ‘2 times’ into the pop orbit, and with great acclaim. Regarded as a now-classic,’2 times’ was born out of Anne Lee’s previous Eurodance work and close production relationships across the industry, leading to the legendary track reaching #1 in the UK charts and landing Top 10 charting positions all over Europe, also.
