Currently embarked on the High School Nation tour, Rocco is bringing his signature funky-pop sound to high schools across Texas, connecting with young audiences on a personal level. His August 2024 release, “Leaving with Me,” marks a significant collaboration with Teddy Riley, the New Jack Swing pioneer and producer of Michael Jackson's Dangerous album. Working with Riley has empowered Rocco to channel his idol’s influence, resulting in music that feels both fresh and timeless. His live performances—from KidzCon and DistroFest to the 116th Street Puerto Rican Festival this past June—have showcased this sound, building excitement around his evolving style.

For Rocco, songwriting and production are intuitive explorations. Writing music feels like entering a new realm where ideas flow and a theme eventually emerges, framing his emotions through a novel perspective. Guided by Riley’s rhythmic influences and distinct drum patterns, he relies on instinct in the studio, often closing his eyes to connect with the beat. Outside of music, the artist-to-watch enjoys basketball with his brothers, family time, and cooking—a passion inherited from his Italian nana, who instilled in him an appreciation for the art of cuisine. Drawn to water sports, he eagerly jumps into wakesurfing, tubing, and other lake activities whenever possible.
