Even as the video for his track “MAN ON A MISSION” picks up steam on major international outlets like MTV US, MTV Latin America, MTV Brazil, LA-TV, multi-talented, loud and proud pop visionary MkX launches his powerhouse new single WANT U BAD November 8.

Self produced by MkX, co-written by MkX, Myah Marie (Britney Spears, RuPaul, Selena Gomez) and Brandon Colbein (Zayn, Kehlani, Hayley Kiyoko). The song incorporates the singer/songwriter’s signature electro-pop production.

WANT U BAD will be followed up with a remix EP on November 15 including a self-produced Hyperpop remix, along with a Dance/Club remix by Grammy winning Producer/Remixer Dave Audé (Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyoncé). Listen HERE

No stranger to radio airplay, MkX songs have been featured on Sirius XM, The iHeart Dunkin’ Music Lounge and have charted on the Mediabase Top 40 radio charts. He recently embarked on a nationwide Pride Festival tour, which included dates with iHeartRadio.  He previously landed shows with Ariana Grande, Christina Perri, and Rixton as part of a duo with his sister.

“I’ve always had a very strong vision of my artistry sonically and visually,” MkX says. “I’ve learned a lot throughout my journey being an artist/performer since I was eight years old. It takes a lot of patience, strength and willpower to stay true to your artistry and creativity. Over the years, different people in the industry have tried to change my sound and image to be less outlandish, attempting to ‘straight-wash’ me. I’ve been on a mission not only to express my individuality but also to show others how liberating it is to express yourself to the fullest.”

“I’m a huge fan of pop music and have studied it all my life.” says MkX, who majored in electronic music production and sound design at Berklee College of Music. “I’ve always found it so interesting how pop music is a combination of creativity with almost a science/mathematical aspect to it. While making WANT U BAD, my goal was to make a record that screams quintessential POP! The song has a lot of electro-pop influences from the late 2000s/early 2010s.”
