Independent singer and songwriter Ben E. Davis has released a an energetic and playful single titled “Mind Games.” The song, born out of collaboration with LA-based songwriter and co-producer, Ulf Anneken, takes listeners on a vibrant journey through the highs and lows of romantic entanglements. The lyrics of “Mind Games” capture the frustration and fun of navigating mixed signals in love, with a catchy chorus that playfully confronts the confusion. The song found new life when producer Joe Rodwell, known for his work on the popular Netflix series Bridgerton, joined forces with Ben in London.This feel good tune blends infectious beats with Ben E. Ben E. Davis, a dynamic singer/songwriter born in Los Angeles and currently based in London, seamlessly blends pop, soul, and dance genres to create his distinct musical style. Influenced by icons such as Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, and George Michael, Ben's musical journey began with a standout national anthem performance for the Phoenix Suns in high school. Completing his studies at UCLA, he recorded "Philosophy," a track written by Ryan Tedder (lead singer of One Republic), featured in the film Step Up. Ben's passion for music led him to join the renowned party band the LA ALLSTARS, performing on global stages supporting artists such as Katy Perry and Train. In 2014, Ben made a bold move to London, where he quickly found himself singing back-up vocals for Union J on the X-Factor UK and supporting artists like Fleur East at Pride in 2017. His career peaked in 2021 with a performance at the Royal Albert Hall, supporting Keala Settle for the Royal Variety Performance attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. As an independent artist, Ben has gained attention for singles like "Lonely Without You," remixed by Liam Keegan (remixer for Sia and Carly Rae Jepsen), and "One More Day," featured in the Nintendo Switch game The Seven Chambers. Looking ahead to 2024, Ben is set to unveil "American Boy In London," a song co-written with Sting, promising a fresh spin on the classic "Englishman In New York."
