Grammy-winning British pop trio Clean Bandit have made their official return to music with the release of new single ‘Cry Baby’ featuring chart-topping vocalist Anne-Marie and internationally acclaimed DJ and producer David Guetta – listen here. The new song, released via B1 UK/Ministry of Sound, is accompanied by its official video, directed, produced and edited by Clean Bandit. With appearances from train expert Francis Bourgeois and Nigerian star Ruger, we are taken on a riotous train journey with Anne-Marie, herself on her own empowering journey towards independence from an undeserving man. Clean Bandit’s Jack and Luke are driving the train, while Grace is serving tea to Francis Bourgeois and her dad, who also built the train set for the video!

Cry Baby’ marks the second collaboration between 8x Brit-nominated act Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie, following their internationally adored track ‘Rockabye’ with Sean Paul. The self-directed music video for ‘Rockabye’ is about to hit three billion views on YouTube, and the song is one of the four Clean Bandit tracks to hit over a billion Spotify streams, placing them in Spotify’s Billions Club four times. The only other UK bands to reach this milestone are Queen, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, and One Direction.

Speaking about the new single, Grace Chatto of Clean Bandit said: “It’s hard to express in words how much ‘Cry Baby’ means to me. It came out delicate, playful and soft, despite the song’s deep pain. It still makes me cry sometimes when I listen to it, 4 years on from when we started it. I’m so grateful it is finally out in the world.”

Since the start of 2024, Clean Bandit have been teasing their new music and have featured on two Latin bangers earlier this Summer: ‘MAR AZUL’ with Colombian reggaeton giants Piso 21 & Jhosy, then 'Lambo Sport' with the Puerto Rican rapper Darell. This music was written during an extended writing trip in Miami at the start of this year. Grace recently appeared on the covers of Voir Magazine and Fault Magazine, speaking to both magazines about what fans can expect from their new era.
