The Mumbai-born, California-raised R&B/Pop singer Kru, brings together the cultures of both her Indian and US influences for her delicate signature sound: a fusion of her ethnic roots, American roots, R&B, Pop and Kpop. Classically trained in opera as well as traditional Indian Bharathanatyam dance, she has been described as Aaliyah meets Ariana Grande.  With over 2 million streams worldwide, almost 3 million views on Youtube, and over 6 million views/1 million likes on TikTok, Kru has quickly amassed a following that recognizes her shining vocal prowess, eye-catching dance moves, infectious collaborations, and powerful presence. 

Kru is gearing up to release a collaboration with the Multi-Platinum Korean music producer Cha Cha Malone, “Masteplan (feat. Junoflo)”  on May 17, 2024, ahead of her EP INEVITABLE, fully produced by Malone with an exclusive premiere on Billboard. Chase Vincent Malone, more commonly known as Cha Cha Malone, is an American singer, music producer, songwriter, composer, and member of b-boy crew Art of Movement (AOM). The Seattle, Washington native is widely known for his work with Korean-American artist, Jay Park – a music partnership that began in 2009 and has produced numerous multi-platinum hits. Aside from collaborations with Park, Malone has produced over 200 commercial records and has worked with an impressive list of artists in South Korea, including Jessi, Loco, Henry Lau, Red Velvet, EXO, Shinhwa, Shinee, KARA, and many more. Malone’s music is recognizable by its distinctive producer tag, 'I need a Cha Cha beat boy.’ 

On the first of three singles “Masterplan” vocal sensation Kru manifests the kind of life that she wants to lead. From million dollar deals to brands that’ll fund the fun, Kru aptly sketches a “master plan” sharply woven into her melodies, with the help famed rapper Junoflo, who was the first Korean artist to perform at an NBA halftime show.  It’s a soundtrack for anyone who is chasing the dreams that they deserve, and for the Mumbai born, Bay Area raised siren, this is all years in the making.
