London-based powerhouse vocalist and songwriter, Chiara Nova, wins VEVA Collect Have you Heard the Remix? Featuring Dave Audé competition with her single "Bitter Heart”.

Growing up singing in a choir and later influenced by the likes of Lady Gaga, Jessie Ware and Robyn, Chiara Nova quickly discovered her love for pop and soul music, inspiring her to write her own songs from a young age. She delivers era-blending synth pop sounds giving her music a sense of timelessness, creating a tension between self-introspection and love stories, leaving the meaning of her songs in the hands of the listeners.

Her debut single “Bitter Heart” has been chosen by Grammy-Winning DJ Producer Dave Audé for his new remix project and will be released on May 17th on Audacious Records. 

"Bitter Heart" is a powerful synth-pop anthem depicting a bittersweet journey to adulthood. Expressing vulnerability in her emotional setbacks, Chiara Nova declares her determination to stand strong, push her boundaries and find her place in the world, even if it means burning up the past and starting anew. This track full of hooks and driven beats came to life in the middle of the pandemic when the world very much felt a need for escapism.
