Saibh Skelly is back with her hot new single Lover

Singer-songwriter Saibh Skelly's new single "Lover" is now available on all major streaming platforms. Saibh says “The song explores the feeling you get when you have just met someone, the longing to have a deep connection with this person and spend every moment with them. It’s almost an unhealthy infatuation and you can’t help but let them know how you feel.”

Talking about the creative process Saibh explains “This was definitely something different to what I usually do. The emphasis is on the rhythm and beat, rather than complex lyrics. I’m still trying to get a message across with the energy of the song. It was a fun process, getting to experiment with different techniques.”

Saibh has been working away behind the scenes getting ready to release new music and getting prepared for more live gigs. “I’m particularly looking forward to two Academy gigs supporting two fellow Irish artists, Issacc Butler and Roisín O. The Irish music scene is on fire at the moment and I’m so happy to be a part of it.”
