The Chasing Abbey guys recently decided to revisit their roots by creating dance versions of 18th-century traditional Irish songs, starting with "Oh my Johnny", their take on the original Banks of the Roses song.

The track has reached #1 on YouTube most trending music video in Ireland, now accumulating over a million streams between YouTube and SoundCloud combined within a month. 

The guys consider their style a new genre called "Trad House," blending traditional Irish music with modern electronic elements. What is interesting is just how much this song seems to have gripped people. We can see that their Instagram account has reached half a million people in the past week alone, and most comments are telling them that they have discovered a brand-new genre.
