Virgin EMI’s latest signing Dakota is the voice behind the 4 million-selling global smash hit single ‘Fast Car’ by Jonas Blue

Today is the release of her debut single‘Long Hot Summer’ which captures the feel-good summer-ready vibe that has brought her a new and loyal fanbase

The brand new single is an upbeat anthem of youthful escapism co-written by Dakota herself and Tim Woodcock, whose previous collaborations include John Newman and Little Mix 

The single also received the its finishing touch from renowned songwriter and producer Fraser T Smith (Kano, Sam Smith) who signed Dakota to his 70HZ Recordings
