EKKAH "Small Talk"

EKKAH return with new single ‘Small Talk’, their first offering since being signed to new label home Year One/RCA.

Produced by Tourist, the connection coming together over a shared musical appreciation, ‘Small Talk’ finds the downtown dancefloor duo at their most vibrant and swoon-worthy – a chicly addictive yet heartstring-tugging concoction of arching harmonies, colorful synths, reverberant handclaps and an impossibly beguiling disco groove.

2015 saw the London-via-Birmingham duo of longtime best friends Rebecca Wilson and Rebekah Pennington release their debut EP Last Chance To Dance to plaudits from Rookie, The Guardian, i-D, The Fader, Hunger and others, support Kylie Minogue in Hyde Park and play a UK headline tour in October and November, in between writing and recording in the UK, Sweden and LA.

Their live show, complete with sax solos (played by Rebekah) and a performance brimming with magnetic energy, is one of those rare occurrences where the fun being had on stage is as evident as that being had on the floor. A chance to see them in action comes with a number of dates this spring, including a headline show at Oslo in London on April 7^th and more dates to be announced.
