Avicii unleashes the massive Broken Arrows

As the fifth single to be taken from new album ‘Stories’ - an album that peaked at #1 on iTunes in 36 countries as the follow up to 2013’s record-breaking debut LP ‘True’- ‘Broken Arrows’ showcases Avicii at his emphatic, feel-good best.

Following previous album singles ‘The Nights’ - a track that has already gone Platinum after selling well over 600,000 copies - ‘Waiting For Love’ (certified Gold in the UK), ‘Pure Grinding’ and ‘For A Better Day’, ‘Broken Arrows’ is the latest to tap into Avicii’s ability to blend acoustic and electronic instrumentation in new and innovative ways. Both warm and emotive but equally euphoric, the single captures the spirit of friendship and love, with powerful, infectious vocals and dizzying melodies adding depth to the euphoric, feel-good nature of the track itself.

Now established as one of dance music’s biggest global stars, his work on ‘True’ - a record that sold over 5 million copies worldwide and boasted 2013’s fastest-selling single in ‘Wake Me Up!’ - has helped open up new possibilities for dance music, and on ‘Broken Arrows’, Avicii continues to lead the charge.
