Katy Perry scores her 7th number 1 in a row on this weeks Music Week Pop Chart!
Thursday 29th March 2012
The fantastic Katy Perry is back with her fabulous new single "Part Of Me" which has already been huge in the nationals and leaped to #1 and now thanks to awesome remixes including Jacques Le Cont and the mighty Freemasons, "Part Of Me" does the same and jumps to number 1 on the new Music Week Pop Charts.
Commentary from Alan Jones:
"Foster The People also jump 13-2 on the Commercial Pop chart but they are well beaten by Katy Perry's Part Of Me, which had 20.35% more support. Number two last week, Part Of Me thus becomes Perry's seventh number one off her Teenage Dream album. Added to the new Complete Confection version of the album, it follows the set's previous Commercial Pop chart number ones, California Gurls (feat. Snoop Dogg), Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T. (feat. Kanye West), Last Friday Night (TGIF) and The One That Got Away.
Well done to Katy and the guys at Virgin EMI.
A massive number 1 worked by Eurosolution!
