Mexican superstar Sofia Reyes took her infectious brand of Latin pop to an international audience when her track ‘Llegaste tú’ shot past 70 million streams. Now Sofia is poised to make an even bigger global impact by launching her new single ‘1, 2, 3’, which features hitmaker Jason Derulo and reggaeton sensation De La Ghetto.

Blending an immediately unforgettable pop hook with insistent, up-tempo rhythms and a shot of pure summer vibes, ‘1, 2, 3’ is an uplifting antidote to the winter months. Sofia Reyes sizzles in centre stage, and she’s complemented by De La Ghetto’s rapid-fire raps and Jason Derulo’s soulful vocal gift.

Sofia wrote the song with Jason Derulo, De La Ghetto, Nicole Zignago, Ricky Montaner, Jon Leone and Charlie Guerrero. It was produced by Kiss The Chief (Ricky Montaner and Jon Leone) and Tainy.

The accompanying video was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Mike Ho (J Balvin, Becky G, Mary J Black). It features the multicultural trio of Sofia Reyes (Mexican), De La Ghetto (Puerto Rican) and Jason Derulo (American), who combine to create a fresh blend of styles and vibrant colours in a video that fans will love.

“I have been very anxious about this single and can't wait for my SoCrew to listen to it. ‘1, 2, 3’ is a unique blend of three very different genres and vibes (Latin, pop and urban) which brings a new style to my portfolio but still maintains my essence,” said Sofia.

“Sofia is a sweetheart, she is a real professional and I loved working with her and her team. I am excited as I feel like this song is going to take over the world,” added Jason Derulo.

“I'm excited to work on '1,2,3' alongside the talented Sofia Reyes and Jason Derulo,” commented De La Ghetto. “I have enjoyed every moment of this unique experience. The interaction between the three of us, the exchange of ideas and the union of the Latino world with the Anglo world, it was just so organic. We were also blessed to have Mike Ho's excellent direction and expertise.  I know this video will definitely give everyone a lot to talk about."

Sofia Reyes’ first huge hit came when 'Solo Yo' fired to #1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop chart – making her the first female artist to achieve that feat since Jennifer Lopez in 2011. She subsequently demonstrated another side to her talents when she featured on the Cash Cash hit 'How To Love' which accumulated another 80 million streams.

Sofia continued to progress in 2017 with the release of her debut album 'Louder!' and he was subsequently nominated for three awards at the leading Latin music awards Premio Lo Nuestro: Song of the Year for ‘Solo Yo’, Female Artist of the Year, and Pop/Rock Female Artist of the Year. She also received her first nomination at the 18th Annual Latin GRAMMY awards for Best New Artist.

Sofia joins Nike's new campaign for 'The Force is Female', alongside five other women that are breaking boundaries and disrupting their respective industries: Nike athlete and Olympic high-jumper Vashti Cunningham, plus size model Catherine Li, professional dancer and choreographer Charm La'Donna, and stylist Sami Miro.
