Wamp 2 Dem

Release date: 06/10/2017 Label: Island

Wamp 2 Dem

Wamp 2 Dem (pronounced ‘W’appen to dem?’) is Giggs first full-length offering since 2016’s Landlord; an epic, independently released and totally uncompromising record which charted at #2, was playlisted in its entirety by BBC 1Xtra, and includes anthems Whippin Excursion and Lock Doh.

In the months between Landlord and Wamp 2 Dem, Giggs has been highly-productive, repeatedly reaffirming his status as one of the most vital, exciting artists around.  The rapper has featured on a slew of new releases, jumping on tracks by Stefflon DonChipCharlie SlothSneakbo and others, and appeared twice on Drake’s More Life playlist resulting in stand out track KMT, a mosh-pit-inducing anthem.  Giggs also performed triumphant, sold out hometown shows at Hammersmith Apollo and The Forum, where he was joined onstage by Skepta, Kano, Donae’o, JME and others; hit the road for his debut UK headline tour; tore down multiple summer festivals, and was deservedly nominated for several awards (KA & GRM Daily, MOBOs, BET).

In the decade since Talkin’ Da Hardest dropped, Giggs’ distinctive flow and creative wordplay has won him a loyal and growing army of ardent fans.  To date, Giggs has released 4 studio albums (each one bigger than the last) performed all over the world, and collaborated with several high profile peers, including; Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Kano, Tinie Tempah, Charlie Sloth, Richard Russell, Lethal Bizzle, Chase & Status, Mike Skinner, Mark Ronson, Skepta, Stormzy and Ed Sheeran.

Giggs live shows:
