Rochelle are the genre crossing new electro-pop act that are quite simply the best new thing to come out of West Yorkshire since well-Hovis. Their superb debut single 'Fer De Lance' is seriously good and comes stacked full of swirling synths, pulsing electronic bass and deliciously catchy pop melodies that simply float over the top. No wonder Brighton's bastions of dance Southern Fried have snapped them up for this debut release-.

Rochelle came together in Leeds, meeting at one of the city's colleges, and only
began making music together as recently as 2006. Made up of Lydia (Vocals), Thom (Guitar / Synths) and James (Drums) each member brings something different to the party and they have already recorded and produced a large amount of material. This DIY ethic extends to their creative friends as well who have already helped them put together a brilliant music video for the single, and some beautiful artwork to accompany the release from rising street artist Adam KouKoudakis.

Ultimately Rochelle play dance music for people who love their pop and it's this deadly combination that is winning them plenty of fans. Their captivating live sets have already seen them tour the UK supporting Bristol's Kosheen, (playing venues like Camden's Koko and Manchester's Academy II), as well as playing at Leeds Festival and recently performing to 2,000 people in Barcelona.

Having now relocated their studio to East London, Rochelle are now fully loaded and ready to make themselves heard-.we have a feeling it's not going to take too long.
