Rising star - Tennessee born Josiah and The Bonnevilles have teamed up with Italian DJ producer duo SDJM on a remix of the single ‘Swing’ out 15 March via Positiva/Virgin EMI Records & Time Records. The original version of the track which has amassed over 1.4 million streams and combined between the two artists they have almost 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify with SDJM holding over 57 million global streams alone.

The voice behind the vocals of ‘Swing’ is Josiah with his eponymous project Josiah and the Bonnevilles. Originally self-recorded in Las Vegas, Nevada and was produced by Leming and Dave Way (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Paul McCartney). ‘Swing’ perfectly encapsulates 29-year-old Leming’s influences, led by some of the greatest voices and songwriters of the last 50 years, including Gram Parsons, Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt and Roy Orbison.

Originally from Tennessee at the age of 17, Josiah dropped out of high school and began traveling across the United States to play shows while living out of his car. This eventually caught the eye of executives at Warner Brothers Records who signed him to his first major label record deal in 2008. Josiah’s time at Warner brothers did not produce the creative freedom he desired, causing a split between him and the label in 2010. After this experience with a major company Josiah decided to continue releasing music independently.

SDJM have seen huge global success on remixes to date including “The Heat (I Wanna Dance With Somebody)" [WARNER MUSIC] being #1 on Shazam, for multiple weeks and now having amassed over 30 Million streams on Spotify. Their next remix, a reworking of Backstreet Boys "I Want It That Way” ft. Conor Maynard naming the new track simply ‘That Way’[BIG BEAT], immediately entered Global Viral 50 chart on Spotify at #6 and climbed the global viral chart on Spotify in key markets such as the UK, France, Germany, Australia, USA and many more, also securing #1 on iTunes Dance in Italy in less than 2 weeks.
