TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix) ft M Maggie

TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix) is the latest release out on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters label.

The track has an unusual back story - originally produced by New Yorkers Black Coast and M. Maggie, it was initially self-released on Soundcloud. Without any marketing or promotion, TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix) was a hit across social media and amongst those in the know, with thousands of online shares.

Lucian’s remix has brought a new dimension to the track; the quirky yet laid-back production perfectly complements the breathy vocals of poet and songwriter M. Maggie. The song has clearly struck a chord with a global public, having received over 32 million streams on Soundcloud alone to date.

About Black Coast

Having grown up in the Bronx, Stan Rapoport aka Black Coast has been deeply rooted in New York’s music scene since he was a teenager. Apart from various gigs with rock, hardcore and pop bands, Rapoport managed to make a name for himself as a producer in this exuberant US melting pot of creativity at an impressive speed. Under the alias Black Coast, the sought-after insider produced multiple self-released singles and collaborated with artists from all over the world.

About Nothing Else Matters

Nothing Else Matters is the new record label founded by BBC radio 1 DJ Danny Howard and former BBC colleague Nigel Harding. It launched in huge style with 99 Souls’s hit The Girl Is Mine, and has since followed up with a mixture of both underground and radio-friendly releases, as well as a big event at London’s The Steelyard. Danny said about the label: “Every day I’m discovering new tracks and extremely talented artists. Aside from supporting them on air and on the dancefloor, I’ve always wanted a way in which I can help even more people hear these incredible sounds.”
