Felix Jaehn unveils "Cool" new single from his debut album!

Monday 12th February 2018

Cool ft Marc E Bassy & Gucci Mane

Release date: TBC Label: Polydor

Felix Jaehn has officially unveiled 'Cool', the lead single from his debut album 'I', featuring G-Eazy collaborator Marc E. Bassy and legendary rapper Gucci Mane.

Further driving the hype for his album 'I' set to release on February 16th, the young German DJ and producer has officially revealed 'Cool', along with the accompanying music video. Ripe with bouncy chords, trumpets, and a groovy bassline to match, 'Cool' is both radio and festival friendly. Bassy's vocals effortlessly intertwine with Jaehn's instrumental, resulting in an instant earworm sure to rule the airwaves throughout 2018. Not to be outdone, prominent Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane lends his vocals to the second half of the track, reminiscing on past flings and the pointless pursuit of attaining 'cool'.

Shot in Los Angeles by Drew Kirsch, a director many will recognize from his past work with the likes of blackbear and Louis The Child, the music video features a wide array of characters, each of which draw upon their own unique style of dance and self-expression. Highlighting the lyric 'Remember you told me you'd never forget where you came from', Kirsch and Jaehn repeatedly stress the importance of unadulterated authenticity.

'Cool' is now available for streaming & purchase on all digital service providers. Fans can view the full 25-song tracklist and pre order 'I', and can also catch Jaehn on his ‘I Live Tour’ starting this spring in his home country of Germany.
