Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes, the breakout stars from this summer’s hottest TV phenomenon, today landed a huge record deal with Sony / Relentless Records, launching new single ‘Little Bit Leave It’ available to download now athttp://smarturl.it/LittleBitLeaveIt

After a blossoming bromance that developed throughout the summer, Chris and Kem showed their passion for rapping. The self-confessed Grime fans won the support of several high profile UK artists such as Stormzy during their time on the show, much to the delight of the budding rappers. The genre’s strong influence is evident throughout their music, infused with the boy’s characteristically cheeky demeanour and charisma.  Produced by ZDOT, it is definitely going to fly up the charts.

Both Chris and Kem experienced ups and downs while living in the villa which endeared them to the British public. 24-year-old Chris coupled up with now girlfriend Olivia Attwood and a rollercoaster relationship played out on the show, resulting in the pair coming in third place. 21-year-old hairdresser from Essex, Kem Cetinay fell for Amber Davies and the pair were crowned the winners when the show reached its finale in July.

However, it was the relationship that sprung up between the two of them and their unashamed affection for each other that really cemented the boys as the nation’s favourites. This bromance is what lead ITV to commissioning the boy’s spin off show, ‘Straight Out Of Love Island’ two episodes, which aired over two days 1st and 2nd October 2017, documenting their journey post Love Island and resulting in them landing a record deal.

After a successful performance in front of a crowd of over a thousand people at London’s famous Ministry of Sound, Kem and Chris went on to secure a coveted deal with one of the UK’s biggest labels, Relentless Records / Sony Music, who are responsible for working with and launching huge talents, such as Joss Stone, So Solid Crew, Ms Dynamite, Roll Deep, Rude Kid and Martin Solveig.

The boys will be in the BBC Radio 1 studio with Nick Grimshaw on Wednesday 4th Oct to talk about their new single and show.
