Steps announced their return this week to a rapturous response, with excitement building amongst press and fans particuarly on social media where the band trended for over 24 hours on both Twitter and Facebook. This Friday 10th March, Steps release their brilliant new single “Scared Of The Dark” and to add to the excitement, tickets for their“Party On The Dancefloor” tour go on general sale the same morning.

The single was written by Fiona Bevan (One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer) and Carl Ryden (The Saturdays, David Guetta) and produced by The Alias and is undoubtedly going to bring Steps back to the airwaves and charts.
The band’s new album Tears On The Dancefloor features tracks from the biggest songwriters in pop including Ina Wroldsen (Calvin Harris, Britney Spears), Steve Mac (Jess Glynne, Little Mix), TMS (Years & Years, Sigma), and Metrophonic (Cher, Olly Murs). Tears On The Dancefloor marks the band’s first full album of original material since 2000 and is full of huge pop classics that are sure to get everyone back on the dancefloor. Steps are excited to take the new album on the road and recently announced the Party On The Dancefloor Tour. The run kicks off in Dublin on November 13th and hits 15 cities across the UK and Ireland including stops at London’s legendary The SSE Arena, Wembley and The O2. Steps have scored fourteen consecutive top 5 singles, sold over 20 million records and reachedNumber One with three albums and two singles. They are BRIT award winning and hold the record for the most consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley.
